Watt Drive ernennt neuen Vertriebsleiter
WEG, ein weltweit führender Anbieter in der Antriebstechnik, hat René Binder zum neuen Vertriebsleiter des Tochterunternehmens Watt Drive Antriebstechnik GmbH, mit Sitz im österreichischen Markt Piesting, ernannt.
Seit dem 1. Januar 2017 ist Binder für die Steuerung des nationalen und internationalen Vertriebs, inklusive Außendienst und Innendienst, verantwortlich. Dies beinhaltet auch den weltweiten Export der Produkte des Getriebespezialisten Watt Drive und den Vertrieb über die globalen WEG-Niederlassungen. Das breite Motor- und Automatisierungs-Portfolio von WEG, im österreichischen Markt, in die Vertriebsstrukturen von Watt Drive zu integrieren, fällt ebenso in das Aufgabengebiet des neuen Vertriebsleiters. Binder führt ein Team von rund 20 Vertriebsmitarbeitern in Österreich und berichtet an Klaus Sirrenberg, Geschäftsführer der Watt Drive Antriebstechnik GmbH. Er folgt auf Markus Weber, der nun für den Vertrieb von WEG Standardmotoren in Österreich zuständig ist.
René Binder verfügt über 25 Jahre internationale Vertriebserfahrung und kennt sich sowohl in der Antriebstechnik als auch bei Watt Drive bestens aus. Für Binder ist es eine Rückkehr zu alter Wirkungsstätte. Von 1992 bis 2010 war der Maschinenbau-ingenieur bei Watt Drive tätig, zuletzt als Mitglied der Geschäftsleitung sowie International Marketing und Sales Manager. Bis zu seiner erneuten Anstellung arbeitete er als selbstständiger Unternehmensberater und drei Jahre lang als Marketing und Sales Manager beim Metall- und Kunststoffverarbeitungsspezialisten Sunhill Europa GmbH.

Watt Drive appoints new Sales Manager
WEG, a leading global manufacturer of motor and drive technology, has appointed René Binder as the new Sales Manager of their subsidiary Watt Drive with headquarters in Markt Piesting, Austria.
Effective 1 January 2017, Binder is responsible for managing national and international sales, including field sales and inside sales, as well as worldwide export of the products of gear unit specialist Watt Drive and distribution through the global network of WEG branches. The task of integrating WEG’s broad motor and automation portfolio in the Austrian market into the sales structure of Watt Drive is also on the to-do list of the new Sales Manager. Binder heads a team of about 20 sales staff in Austria and reports to Klaus Sirrenberg, Managing Director of Watt Drive. He succeeds Markus Weber, who assumes responsibility for WEG standard motor sales in Austria.
René Binder has over 25 years of international sales experience and is very familiar with drive technology as well as Watt Drive. For Binder it is a sort of homecoming. He worked at Watt Drive from 1992 to 2010 as a mechanical engineer, ultimately as a member of senior management and International Marketing and Sales Manager. Prior to his most recent appointment, he was a self-employed business consultant and for three years Marketing and Sales Manager at metal and plastics processing specialist Sunhill Europa.
